I found one on Foxfire. Youtube Download Helper. Works fine, but you have to install another package via Linux Terminal. It works,that's all that matters.

I was using the installation from synaptic package installer on Linux MX. youtube - dl - gui I didn't use an extension from Brave browser. Is there a dedicated extension that Brave has...??

I tried the VLC media player option. Kept getting code error message; would load url, then error message would pop up, and had to close. I got yt-dlp-gui installed, copied and pasted the url, then i get input is not correct error....
