A friend of mine from Arstechnica, said hes been using the Debian Chromium with Ubuntu 20.04 with no issues. Hes the one that suggested I should rfetry Gnome 3 after my bad experience with Ubuntu Gnome.

Can't we use another browser instead? Like Firefox?

Yes you can use another browser but for most users it really sntt a problem. tlmillers needs are different from many.

Chromium is a good browser but Ive been using Firefox mainly and playing with Vivaldi.
