I've used most of those. I actually prefered gwenview of those listed for YEARS, but it's been a bit unstable for a while last year, so I moved to nomacs, which I've found I really like (and it's significantly lighter than Gwenview).

feh and Gthumb are the 2 most recommended but I have never used them, I use photoQT and it has worked just fine for me so far.
