I had been looking at Kubuntu Focus which uses KDE Plasma 5.24 LTS. I took a fresh look at Endeavour OS, which is now up to KDE Plasma 5.27.0 the latest. In honesty I do not seem much difference.
KDE jumps in with lots of features, planning to polish them up in the future. They do polish things up, but it seems they always have lots of janky rough edges that need more work. I think they would be better off to scale back their features to only adding them in when they are really well done. Up next is Plasma 6, but in my estimation the time would be better spent getting Plasma 5 into better shape.

5.27 has some new features but nothing crazy and a lot of bug fixes. Difference between it and 5.24 isnt huge.
