Amarok I personally was never that happy with and tended to use Clementine instead. Looking forward to see how Elisa turns out.

Agree with both. I used Amarok, but was never a fan, it was always slow and somewhat clunky.

Clementine was in every way an improvement upon it. I still use Clementine, and don't really know what they mean by looking dated, I think it looks just fine (of course, I also use foobar2000 on Windows which is far more dated looking, but works great for Windows).

Clementine looks fine to me.

I use xmms2 with my own front-end of course. ;)
