My wife uses it more than I do, but it comes in handy.

Re: Gimp 2.10 released
I had a few minor issues with the previous version, my wife reported so moving to this version has solved those.
Re: Gimp 2.10 released
Arch has upgraded to 2.10, so was playing with it a little today. Can't say I use it enough to have ever had any issues with 2.8, but it does seem like it starts a bit quicker.

Its quicker in general is the main thing I notice.
Re: Gimp 2.10 released
I updated this on Windows today. Was not pleasant. Failed 4 times until I manually uninstalled 2.8 (which required a reboot then because of the failed updates), and then installed it.

Re: Gimp 2.10 released
Ive always had to do that, uninstall the previous version and then reinstall the new version in Windows.
Re: Gimp 2.10 released
Most of my windows programs I manage through Ninite, so it's usually pretty good about being able to upgrade. This did not work well.

Its a rarity but Ive also had issues with LibreOfficeawhile back but upgrades now remove the previous version before they install.
Awhile back Audacity had the same issue but recent versions seem to be fine.
