I am not sure why I seem to be the only one having trouble with this sites URLs. I guess I just pick too odd of software to use. In any event I have been subscribed to the forums RSS feed via this link for some while and it has worked perfect. <app.php/feed?sid=ba0ce18ec58af8f6010d472c27973b90> A few days ago it stopped showing any new posts.
I resubscribed with this link <app.php/feed?sid=ba0ce18ec58af8f6010d472c27973b90> This produces the same results, no new posts show up in the feed.
This is not a big deal since I generally visit the forum everyday, but I figured I would mention it.
RSS Feed stopped working
Re: RSS Feed stopped working
Please ignore prior post. It turns out that something in the protocol must have changed and the problem appears to be with my feed reader or my system. I grabbed a different feed reader and it is working fine with the sites feed URL. I am always dismayed when my old favorite software quits doing what I want it to do and I need to either update or change software.

Re: RSS Feed stopped working
I'm glad you figured it out before i even read the post I guess it's the evolution of software to blame.
Re: RSS Feed stopped working
This is not an issue. The change in the forum URL changed the RSS feed url as well. I had a bit more trouble finding it but here it the url working for me. Not sure how popular RSS readers are anymore, but I have used them for long time and find the aggregation of all the reading material to be very handy.

All in all, it is nice to have the forum back up. It is a quiet place, which for me anyway makes it pretty pleasant. Thanks @dar-trying.

Re: RSS Feed stopped working
You don't need the ?sid= etc; just app.php/feed
Re: RSS Feed stopped working
Sorry: <app.php/feed>
Re: RSS Feed stopped working
Thanks. I have an old laptop that runs an old OS that I really like. I have the PaleMoon browser installed, which is built off Firefox esr to run on old systems. Palemoon has an RSS reader built into, which I just find strange and not something I want in my browser. However when you visit a site that has RSS feeds, it displays a badge on the toolbar that offers to add the feed and provides the URL for the feed and that is where I picked up the URL I posted. Plugging it into my feed reader does add the feed to the reader. I copied the URL to Zim and I will edit it to the shorter version for use in the future.

Re: RSS Feed stopped working
Sorry I'm a bit late replying, visiting the grandchildren for the weekend so I might be a bit delayed, but yes apologies for the change in site address, it was easier to re-implement than using a sub-domain like before. The rss feed should all be running on this address and I use it myself when I'm home but don't have it set up here so have to check in the site manually, I hope everything is working ok for all of you.
