I have never been able to get parted. I can use fdisk, cfdisk, gdisk, but parted just baffles me.

Same here with parted but Ive probably used fdisk the most over time.

I have used parted a few times when only terminal was available but usually use GParted because it's so easy.

Ive used Gparted a fair amount.

I mostly use KDE Partition Manager (not really surprising given my preference of Plasma 5 by KDE as my DE), but always keep a gparted-live .iso on usb just in case. I also keep an image of the gparted-live .iso on my Nutanix box for recovering servers that I did oopsies with.
