I don't use it as a rule, I prefer to have to log in each time rather than leave an open session.

Corporate systems are pretty much always a train wreck, especially if it involves the government in any way, the Post Office here (UK) is currently undergoing a major inquiry which has so far seen wrongful criminal convictions overturned and considerable compensation has been paid to some with others still waiting!
