I dont have it installed anywhere. FreeOffice is on most of my Windows systems and LibreOffice in Linux. I saw your post over at q40s forum about the EULA for WPS and it is odd they restrict use to Chinese associated distros.

The reason its odd is, only two of those distros are popular Kylin and Deepin, plus you cant restrict what distros people are using.

Well, on proprietary software, you can certainly restrict what you're allowed to use it on. And having agreed to the EULA, if you use it on something that's not listed, technically you'd be open to litigation.

However, I'm willing to bet that the section of the EULA for that I'd be willing to bet was from before Kingsoft released the office suite internationally. They developed and released the office suite for quite a few years in china (as WPS office) only before releasing it as Kingsoft Office internationally.

Given they're trying to get users outside of China (where they're apparently extremely popular), I have my serious doubts if they ever would go after anyone. But even if they did, it would be going after companies. It's just not worth going after individual users for something like this.

Agree but I always find EULAs entertaining.
