Thunderbird not working with Comcast email

No fix has appeared so your only course of action is to change the mail server address.

Nothing has changed as the Ubuntu based distros you have to change the imap server address but anything Debian based has no issues with the old server address.

Got a strange email from Comcast trying to explain/deny? the problem, hard to tell and makes no sense.
