Firefox will allow you to opt out and have no intentions of forcing it on you, unlike Windows.

I do not understand AI, or what it is people expect from AI. It does seem to me if you are looking for a useful personal assistant tool, it follows that the assistant needs to have access to personal data. A lawyer, banker, secretary, administrative assistant, financial advisor or even perhaps wife/husband, would not be very useful if they did not have a wealth of your personal information to draw upon. Anyway at the moment AI is too computationally intense to run on local hardware, which necessitates sending your data off site, which does involve giving it up to some third party (big info sucking tech giant).
Like most choices in life it boils down to a case of who do you trust. At this point I do not trust big tech companies, so in my case it means that I am just not ready for AI.

Im definitely not ready for AI. AI has been around for quite some time, and many people have been affected by it, without even knowing it. Society as a whole isnt ready for AI and the profound affect the more advanced version will have overall.

If they would spend more time improving the software and allowing people to just get things done and stop all the unnecessary features, things would be a lot better.
