So which one should I use on MX-17 ..? I'm not using anything right now....

I wouldnt use any of them Capt, youre fine with MX17. I dont use them either.

OK CC.... I don't go to anything risky,that I know of. And if I get something that seems suspicious, I just delete.....better safe,than sorry..!

It depends on how youre using Linux and who you are sharing data with as I sometimes scan data because its going to Windows users. I already have a firewall on my gateway so I just try to be smart.

Agreed, if you're using it as a server, you have to be WAY more paranoid about these things than a basic desktop that isn't on and connected 24x7. I'm also not running anything on a day to day basis.

Im far more paranoid when Im running Win7 but if youve got good habits overall, its still not a huge issue.

Running Linux alleviates all that non sense...seriously, I'm NEVER going back to Windblows.....

I run Win7 for gaming and also to support my wife, as she runs it for her business. I dont mind Win7 but hate Win10.
