I've only used MC out of them and it is so good at what it does I've never had reason to look for anything else. I will have to take a look at some of the others though as they could be quite useful.

Actually, I'm happy with Dolphin,and a lot of times, I use Thunar...the MX default.

I'm with Dai. Of console file managers, I've never used anything but mc. It works fantastically, so never found a need to try anything else. Although I do prefer Dolphin in a gui...

MC is all Ive used but Im with Capt as I prefer Dolphin.

I have used MC quite a bit when I'm in the CLI but use whatever the current OS has for GUI file managing. I don't have need for samba/nfs or any other M$ file sharing capabilities so whatever file manager is supplied is more than adequate for my needs and providing it can copy and move files that's about as much as I usually need.
I also use FileZilla for remote files (ftp)

Same here as I rarely change the file manager supplied with the distro Im using.
