I use Thunderbird not surprsingly myself.
I used to use Claws-Mail, but with the fancy plugin having security vulnerabilities, I needed something else that could do html email as html instead of text. You can also use dillo as a html display in claws, but it works horribly, and a lot of things don't work correctly because it won't open links in an external browser.
I HATE Kmail. I think at one point there was a reason for this. Anymore I hate it because I've hated it for as long as I can remember and it's just tradition.
Evolution is WAY too much for my modest needs. Fantastic client for work environments, overkill for what I do.
Never heard of geary or mailspring.

I also hate Kmail but am surprised how many people like it. Evolution is really nice but yes more than i need. Thunderbird continues to be the best blend of features for most users.
