Softmaker Office 2024 beta released

Just got notification from them this morning as the beta of the new version has begun. This can be installed directly beside your present Office or FreeOffice install without issue. If you are already using it a notification for the beta should have reached you as well.

I bought a cad program from SoftMaker which put me on their email list. I think I should unsubscribe from the list, but about once a month they give away a free font. I have a SoftSpot for fonts. Most of the free fonts are not that interesting, but every now and again they have a symbol, or dingbat kind of font that I will add to my collection of fonts.

I mention this because many Linux users use FreeOffice 2021 rather than LibreOffice because of its better MS compatibility.
