Vivaldi is significantly slower than Firefox which is an issue for me.

The latest build is a huge improvement in speed on every machine I've tested it on.

Ive tried it and its ok but still runs slower than Firefox or Chromium. To switch to another browser id have to see a huge reason to do so and so far that hasnt happened. Midori is the fastest browser Ive used so far but it still has some compatibility issues.

Its starting to grow on me a bit even though its got a ways to go to convince me to use it more. Using it on the e6420 and performance was good.

I think the 2.1.xxxx.51 was a huge step. I could VERY EASILY notice the jump in speed with that version. Yeah, it's still slower, yeah it still does some things just WEIRD, but it's a sizeable improvement from prior builds.

Yeah, very little has changed from 2.1 to 2.2. I actually upgraded to 2.2 a couple weeks ago. They've already released a point release for 2.2 in fact. Hasn't improved performance any in my experience (although hasn't hurt it either), nor has it changed any of the quirks of Vivaldi.

It runs pretty well on MX Linux but yes I still dislike many things.
